all drives as /dev/sdx

Hi, I'm trying to figure out which kernel options I need to select to have all drives, sata + ide, be named /dev/sdX instead on /dev/hda. This system is a dell dimension 4600 with 2 sata and 1 ide onboard, all full for 4 total drives, and I'm trying to get consistent naming. Does anyone know the proper config?

No secret here, just disable ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL and use drivers under Serial ATA and Parallel ATA drivers.

@Jaglover Thanks, I thought that was it, I just wanted to make sure that was all that is required.

@krinn Thanks! Very useful doc. I just needed to know which specific options control this particular behavior this time though.
