|
|
I have recnetly tried to recompile my kernel with support for a palm (I am thinking about buying a Sony Clie and my brother in law is coming over later to see if we can sync his to my machine)
I am using gentoo-sources 2.4.20
If I boot into the new kernel, my USB keyboard no longer works. I have made sure that everything I previously had which enabled it to work is still in my kernel config but, now that I also have usbserial and visor modules, I can't use the keyboard.
Does anyone know why?
In my older kernel (before I did anything) I can load usbserial and visor, but not usb-uhci
Any clues anyone?
Edit: If I try to load usb-uhci I get:
Code: | modprobe usb-uhci
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/usb-uhci.o: insmod usb-uhci failed
