TORQUE for clustering can't queue to pure client

I installed torque on several PCs at home just as a proof of concept for a Linux cluster. I took at a stab at setting up a wiki page both to share what I started, to encourage the community to contribute, and to ask for help

My setup: two machines (server/client and pure client) setup as described on the wiki article I started.
My problem: I'm unable to schedule jobs to pure client; they only run on the server/client.

Help from more experienced users is much appreciated.
