I have 2 embedded systems here, with a completely identical gentoo userland.
The only difference between the two is the serial port used as console:
On the system with console on ttyS0 I can login as root. The other has the
console on ttyS2, and on this one I can NOT login as root, only as user and
then su to root. Does anyone have an idea why that is? |
