rsync problems

Hi there,

Is there any other way to download the latest Portage tree, other than using emerge rsync.

I'm behind a firewall and setting RSYNC_PROXY does not work.

Just an FYI -- I use that script and it works great. Highly recommended for anyone who can't use rsync for one reason or another.
