It has a nvidia gt550 and the 2nd gen intel i5 chip which has some sort of gpu embedded in it. So I'm assuming i want both intel and nvidia drivers installed right?

unfortunately I am under the impression that the two video card laptop is barely supported in linux for radeon and not at all for nvidia. If you can persuade your BIOS to never try to run one you should be able to configure the other.

I've no idea. Best of luck. If you have good luck with it, I'm sure an edit to the wiki page and a bug report for a bumblebee ebuild would be welcome.

If you have no BIOS switch to disable the integrated graphics, you need to use the intel driver for your X server.

Follow http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xorg-config.xml and when that works you can look into getting bumblebee to run for individual applications.
