HI... i just upgraded to kernel 2.6.4... and i dont get direct rendering anymore

. For some reason the fglrx module fails to load... I tried re emerging ati-drivers... but no luck same deal. i use the 3.2.8-r1 drivers. Would it be better if i upgraded to the 3.7.0 or the 3.7.1 and if so... how? and how do i get my direct rendering back. If i boot back into my 2.4 kernel.... it works... I have no clue on how to fix this... help!

After kernel upgrading the first thing you need to do is to upgrade video drivers (no matter, nvidia or ati) to the LATEST version, even if it's masked.
