|
|
Code: |
modprobe: can't locate module /dev/ROOT
Remounting root filesystem red/write [ok]
checking all filesystems ...
fsck 1.33
modprobe: Can't locate module /dev/BOOT
fsck.ext2: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/BOOT
...
login for maintance
(Ctrl-D to go on)
|
after installation everything looked fine, LILO was booting, but then the boot proccess stopped as shown above. If I go on with Ctrl-D the proccess is going on fine. The only thing not working after start up is internet connection (intra ok)! Anyway I want to fix this thus I want to use this system as a development server ... Any ideas what could be wrong? |

Easy. Edit your fstab to replace the /dev/BOOT with your real boot partition
/dev/hda1 for instance.
Oh, and /dev/ROOT as well of course. _________________ Linux: More fun than porn. |
