Javascript in Konqueror

How the heck do I get Javascript to work in Konqueror? I've installed sun-jdk and sun-j2ee, but although Konqueror runs classes successfully, scripts such as the Emoticons in this phpBB still don't work. Why?

Just to clear up a misconception: JavaScript is NOT Java. Javascript, by netscape, is basically a way of making normal web pages dynamic on the client side (pop up windows, form validation, etc). Java (by sun) is a platform independant programming language often used to create 'Applets' - little applications embedded into a page, but distinct from it. OK, i'm done ranting.
