I have this strange problem.
I am using mdadm to use a raid array, and root is mounted on it.
Every time I shutdown, something happens that breaks the raid array and it must rebuild on the next start. I have mdraid and mdadm in the boot runlevel.
It does complain about not being able to remount root ro, most likely because it is in use. Is it even possible to fix that? I am not sure if that's the cause, but mdadm does see it as an unclean mount the next startup. ![Confused :?](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

It is something to do with mdadm, I've tried updating to 3.2.1 and rolling that version into my initramfs. It's still doing it.
Rolled a dmraid kernel with 1.0.0-rc16 and it's working as it should. |
