If you come across a package that fails to build, you might have luck with
Code: | emerge -aDNuv --skipfirst world |

Neither of the options is 'better' than the other since they do quite different things; --keep-going regenerates the merge order when it hits a blocker, while --skipfirst retains the merge order.
I have --keep-going in my make.conf, but sometimes i must use the --skipfirst method to get past a broken build. It may or may not help in your case, but it is worth a try.
EDIT: I saw that you already had tried perl-cleaner --reallyall. No need of telling you about perl-cleaner. _________________ If you've got nothing nice to say, you're probably not alone... |
