I installed some printers using cups's web interface. Since the upgrade to cups-1.4.8, I lost my printers (in cups) and I can't seem to add them again: pressing the 'Add Printer' button does nothing but reload the http://localhost:631/admin/ page. Anyone know how I can find out what is going on? (couldn't find anything on bugzilla)

| what browser are you using? .. it should come up with a user + password prompt window ..has this pop-up shown up behind .. the main window or do you have a pop-up manager installed that prevents it even being displayed? |

Firefox 7.0.1; I used an earlier version when last successfully adding printers. I had the pop-up back then, but now, I have no pop-up anymore to elevate me to root privileges. There are no pop-unders, and... allowing cookies gives me the pop-up. Will report back to see if I can get my printers configured again. Thanks! |
