There was a strange message for the last few days saying that you have to upgrade to the new version or you will be shut off the network.

Well, looks like they really did it. They seem to do the same thing MSN wants to do.

But there's already a fix to this. I'm just bad, no even worse ;-p , at writing patches so I just copy and do things by hand. You have to change "0900" to "0A00" in "libyahoo2-0.1/libyahoo2.c" and recompile the source. Would be greate if somebody would write a patch and add this to the Gentoo Packages ^_^ ... somebody more skilled in it than a n00b like me... yeeez... I don't even know how to change it in Gentoo and let it recompile with emerge... just know how to do this stuff with LFS :-p |
