I've been messing with this for hours. First my nvidia kernel fuxored and I fixed that, but during the rebuild something happening while it was re-compiling the kernel. My nforce-net driver vanished, no biggie, put it bakc in its place, it does that randomly for some reason so i keep a copy on my home drive to cp over. This time, net.mount failed. Ok. apparently it put a copy in modules.d and that threw a ton of gibberish into my modules.conf. Now there's no nvnet directory in my modules.d, thus no settings for my net driver in modules.conf and on top of that
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 status gives me
/sbin/runscript.sh: line 27: /var/lib/init.d/softlevel: No such file or directory
*status: stopped
it worked fine before now its dead as a doornail.
I've googled and searched the forums, course I never get far cause any search results always time out for me here and none of my friends seem to nkow whats up so i'll just hope someone here knows. |
