Mame & Image Enhancements (Super Eagle, 2xSAI etc)

Hi,

I'm looking to run Mame with image enhancements, a la Kega Fusion and ZSnes. However, I can't find mention of whether its possible with sdlmame or not. I ran the windows MamePlus through wine, but it always seems to run as (what seems like) standard double buffered. It lets me change the image enhancement, but never seems to take effect. It also refuses to run in fullscreen mode.

So, does anyone know why this would be the case for using MamePlus through wine, or whether its possible to run these graphic filters through sdlmame?

My memory's a little rusty, but the last time I tried it was possible, with either sdlmame or advancemame. Don't remember which.

Things may have changed.
