then the system hangs
if someone knows the solution please help.

used genkernel all
then remove it replaced by vanilla again.

Please pastebin the output of grep -E '^[^#]' .config. Also, turn on ACPI again. Any recent system will work much better with it than without it. If you really must have ACPI disabled, you can do so via the kernel command line. |
