Hello,
For some reason eth0 gets renamed every time I change configuration to something else. What drives me crazy though is that even when I add "rc-update add net.eth3 default" it does not run automatically while it runs without problems manually.
Any ideas where to start with this?
I don't want eth0 renamed.

atmosx,
ethX is named in discovery order from the MAC address. Look in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules
Feel free to edit it or delete it. If you delete it it will be recreated on your next boot. _________________ Regards,
