Hello
Can anyone knows if there is any way to make something like this:
I have a network gateway (gentoo) and I would like to gate recorded the users sent e-mails I mean mainly (From: / To: / Date:)
I tried using iptables but not really me coming out.
Has anyone any idea how to do it? |

If your Gentoo box is relaying (Postfix, Exim, Sendmail etc) then that is simple - read the logs!
It sounds that you want to actually watch the traffic stream and parse out details - good luck with that.
Anyway a quick Google for "transparent proxy smtp" brings up this:
