|
|
I got bit.trip.runner from the Humble Bundle, and I tried to run it on Gentoo x64.
When I opened it, I got this error:
Code: |
./bit.trip.runner: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.5.3/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./bit.trip.runner)
|
How can I fix this? After a few Google searches, I found out that GLIBCXX_3.4.15 is part of GCC 4.6 (which is hard masked in Gentoo).
I have installed:
sys-libs/glibc-2.13-r4
sys-devel/gcc-4.5.3-r1 |

Mh, you could go unmasking gcc or do what I do and play it with WINE, which works flawless for me. Not a perfect solution, but well. _________________ ++++++++++[>+++++++>++++++++++>+++>+<<<<-]>++.>+.+++++++..+++.>++.<<+++++++++++++++.>.+++.------.--------.>+.>. |

Are there any risks unmasking GCC 4.6? I assume it's masked for a reason. |

For what it's worth, Jamestown (another game included in the Humble Bundle 4) comes with libstdc++.so.6 binaries that'll also work with bit.tip.runner. |
