I've used conky for years. A few builds ago, I was happy to see apcupsd integration. This worked until the next world update. I've been patient since then in hopes support would return, but no luck. Including

in my .conkyrc doesn't enable any of the other apcupsd features, and eventually causes conky to freeze or disappear.
Today I tried integrating hddtemp into conky. The package was emerged long ago but needed some config, so I added my drive(s) to the database, set the service to load at startup, and started the service. It's working | Code: | gr0x0rd@teletran4 ~ $ sudo hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0: 33 C |
but the value reported in conky is N/A (same as most of my apcupsd values).
Anyone else experiencing similar issues? I also have the same problem. Is there a bug reported for this with Gentoo bug report ? Don't really want to downgrade conky to make this work assuming it works after downgrading.
