Hallo zusammen,
hab mir erst kürzlich ein Gentoo System installiert und bin auch ziemlich zufreiden. Ich habe jedoch ein Problem mit sylpheed das ich schon seit Ewigkeiten als Mail-Programm nutze. Sylpheed unterstützt normalerweise die Darstellung von Grafiken im Programm selbst. Unter Gentoo scheint das nicht zu funktionieren.
Bei einem "emerge sylpheed" kommt während des configure Teils folgende Meldung:

Scheint also irgendwas damit zu tun zu haben das meine GTK Version mit XIM(?) Support kompiliert wurde. Muss ich da irgendeine USE Flag oder sowas setzten? Meine USE Variable:
USE="tiff gtk2 java -gpm xml oss avi gif gtk imlib jpeg mmx 3dnow mpeg oggvorbis truetype X png sdl -arts -java -kde -gnome -mikmod -motif -qt perl -postgres dvd"
Vielleicht hat da ja jemand von Euch nen Tipp.

# USE="gnome" emerge sylpheed
sollte da Abhilfe schaffen, allerdings muss, falls nicht vorhanden gdk-pixbuf installiert werden.
