My man pages have the escape codes in the text instead of highlighting like it is supposed to be. What package could I be missing to cause this? Here is an example of what it looks like when I do "man ls".
Code: |
ESC[1mNAMEESC[0m
ls - list directory contents
ESC[1mSYNOPSISESC[0m
ESC[1mls ESC[22m[ESC[4mOPTIONESC[24m]... [ESC[4mFILEESC[24m]...
ESC[1mDESCRIPTIONESC[0m
List information about the FILEs (the current directory by
default). Sort entries alphabetically if none of ESC[1m-cftuvSUX ESC[22mnor
ESC[1m--sortESC[22m.
Mandatory arguments to long options are mandatory for short options

Have you tried 'source /etc/profile', or tried just logging back in? |

Thanks, source /etc/profile worked fine. Didn't even think of that. |
