Hi!

I made a new alsa-configuration. Some userdefined upmixing, a global softvol and dmix.

Now I added a hook to set and lock some controls, unfortunately it failes:
The first "program" can play sound, but the second will fail with:

ALSA lib setup.c:96:(snd_sctl_install) Cannot lock ctl elem

I already have "optional true", but it seems to fail somewhere else, not in the plugin.

How can I manage to lock the controls while still being able to play from multiple sources?

(Setting the hook after dmix will fail, because dmix only accepts hw-slaves...)
