Hi, ALL,
I just upgraded my kernel to gentoo-sources-3.1.6.
After successful start, I got following during boot:

Code:

Found hardware: "HDA-Intel" "Conexant CX20584" "HDA:14f15068,10250520,00100302"
"0x1025" "0x0520"
Hardware is initialized using a generic method
alsactl: set_control:1255: failed to obtain info for control #3 (No such file or directory)
alsactl: set_control:1255: failed to obtain info for control #6 (No such file or directory)

Did I just not re-emerged something?

Thank you.

My guess (and its only a guess) is that you need to adjust your /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf and add/remove your model=. Also check your kernel configuration for the Intel HD audio and enable / disable static quirks.
