[SOLVED] No flac playback in quodlibet

It starts reading the file and then goes through the file saying:
Code:

invalid sync code
invalid frame header
decode_frame() failed

until it reaches the end of the file.

It also doesn't list flac in the list of supported formats, but does open the files. It uses xinebe as audio backend, I'll start with checking useflags for that.

Any other ideas are welcome.

Edit:
Reemerging xine and quodlibet with the flac use flag set for xine solved it.

Still, why did quodlibet go through the file as described above? Instead of simply skipping it since it did not have the required backend?
