how can i use IT, what need i do ?

I have compiled en gentoo-kernel with SoftSuspend enabled, with <Sysrq d>, my computer goes sleeping, but at boot time, he doesn't see that he was hibernating :(

in kernel help, they talk about sysvinit patchs ...

or is it my swap which is too small ? :?

do you have resume=/dev/hda2 added to grub.conf kernel line? (hda2 replace w/swap partition)
