i just emerged "x11-terms/guake", it works perfectly when i login as root.
but in my non-root user, i can't get preference window open.
i tried to run "guake-prefs" in console, it shows this message:

then i tried "sudo guake-prefs", the config window shows up, but only effect for root.
i try to copy root config by "sudo cp -r /root/.gconf/apps/guake ~/.gconf/apps/ ; sudo chown -R MYNAME ~/.gconf/apps/guake", but still no effect.
does anyone know to fix this? it's a very useful tool, but i can't work as root just for that. |
