|
|
Hello,
I have installed google-earth-6.2.1.6014-r1.
With -qt-bundled, it fails.
With qt-bundled, it works, but all the characters displayed outside the menus are replaced by small squares, like on that screen shot : http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5162/skrmbildgoogleearthie1.png
Any idea of what is wrong in my configuration ?
Thanks,
Jean-Claude |

I had this problem long ago (but only inside the rendering context, not for the whole application) and solved it by installing media-fonts/font-adobe-75dpi and media-fonts/font-adobe-100dpi. |

Thanks for your answer. I just installed media-fonts/font-adobe-100dpi, and it worked !
Are you sure media-fonts/font-adobe-75dpi is necessary ? |

I just tested it, and 100dpi seems to be enough. But this might depend on the specific monitor/resolution/font settings. |
