I am trying to install 32-bit version of Matlab on a 64-bit installation of Sabayon Linux.
The install ran clean and smoothly.
To fix 32-bit compatibility I installed emul-linux-x86-java-1.6 with equo.
Command I used to define location of Java:
export MATLAB_JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/emul-linux-x86-java-1.6/
When I try to run the Matlab application I get the following message:
./matlab -arch=glnx86
Fatal Error on startup: Internal Error: Failure occurs during desktop startup. Details: Failure loading desktop class.
How can I fix this issue?
Thanks in advance |
