VertTwoFingerScroll function/option of synaptics touchpad stopped working after recent upgrade to =x11-base/xorg-server-1.12.0.
There is no error reffering to touchpad in Xorg.0.log:

Tried to downgrade x11-drivers/xf86-input-synaptics from 1.5.0 to 1.4.0 but it has some malfunctions then: cursor from time to time moves to the upper left corner of the screen.
Is there any way to restore full functionality of my touchpad on newest software?

| Have you tried recompiling the latest drivers (you need to do this once in a while when upgrading Xorg) and made sure that /dev/input/event7 still is your touchpad? |

| I have the same exact issue with the xorg-server update. Cursor goes to the upper left. |

This usually works for me when I loose the kb and mouse.

| I installed xf86-input-synaptics-1.5-r1. Seems to have taken care of the erratic behavior for me. I should have had that one keyworded since xorg-server is. Makes sense why the old version wouldn't work. |
