What has happened to the Root Terminal in the Accessories menu on Gnome 2.32.x? My laptop has it on the system but my newly installed amd64 box is missing that item. What do I need to do to get it back in the Accessories menu? _________________ Cheers,

It isn't there, unfortunately. I did look a while back. _________________ Cheers,

You will NOT believe this but you have to install KDE to get the Root Terminal menu item in GNOME. *blinks* _________________ Cheers,

As an aside, I finally solved this one. You need to install the gksu pacakge to get the root terminal capability. Only just discovered this one configuring a new VM tonight! _________________ Cheers,
