I've recently needed to use a wireless PCMCIA (or PCCARD?) on one of my systems;
it works fine, and is easily configured by running wpa_supplicant from the command
line, but I'd like wpa_supplicant to configure the card automatically when it is plugged
in (and shut it down when its removed).

I can think of several hacks that might serve the purpose, but what is the standard
way of doing this?

Thanks - Will
