Hi,

I'm trying to setup a vpn using ipsec-tools, I'm following this guide:

http://en.gentoo-wiki.com/wiki/VPN_iPhone_IPSec

I installed gentoo using the minimal installation cd and I've compiled 3.2.12 kernel. When I try to start racoon I'm getting the following error:

Code:
pfkey_open: Address family not supported by protocol

I've enabled all the modules in the kernel apart from this one which seems not to be present:

Code:
AES cipher algorithms (x86_64)

I didn't use genkernel when I was going through the gentoo installation handbook (if that has anything to do with it!), and I've also tried enabling all networking and cryptographic options into the kernel with the same results.

Does anybody have any ideas? Or would I be better off trying another package?

Thanks for your time,
Jon
