Hi all,
I'm not sure if this post is relevant to this forum, but anyway here we go...
I just installed Gentoo/Freebsd in a VM on a ESX VSphere 4.1 system.
I had no problem in getting it to boot from zfs and setting it up.
I'm at the point to install vmware-tools and don't know how to proceed exactly.
The app-emulation/vmware-tools woudn't install since arch isn't supported.
I tried to install from the freebsd.iso provided by vsphere but it needs some compat64
package and since I have a gentoo system I'm not certain if it can be installed and
how to do it.
Anyone knows a way to work a way through it?
Thanks in advance for any relevant piece of info!
Ciao!
