|
I am getting an error when I run
Code: | # genkernel --install --no-ramdisk-modules initramfs |
The log may be read here: http://hpaste.org/67796
Luckily I did not need the initramfs to boot. The installation is on a virtualbox guest.
I ended up with a message telling where NOT to report compilation errors;
Quote: | * Please do *not* report compilation failures as genkernel bugs! |
so I am trying here. |

ChrisAbela,
Thats not the intent of that message.
Genkernel calls the packages build system, in this case busybox. So its a busybox problem, not a genkernel problem.
The message means please don't spam bug.gentoo.org with genkernel bugs when, say, busybox won't build. _________________ Regards,
