|
|
Since two weeks I cannot connect my blue tooth headset anymore (it worked the last two years just fine), I only see this error when I try to connect the head set.
May 8 15:41:29 mkopp bluetoothd[20408]: Permission denied (13)
May 8 15:41:29 mkopp dbus[7004]: [system] Rejected send message, 3 matched rules; type="method_return", sender=":1.208" (uid=1000 pid=20111 comm="/usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog ") interface="(unset)" member="(unset)" error name="(unset)" requested_reply="0" destination=":1.224" (uid=0 pid=20406 comm="/usr/sbin/bluetoothd --udev ")
these are my packages
net-libs/libbluedevil-1.9.1
net-wireless/bluedevil-1.2.2
net-wireless/bluez-4.99
I updated bluez from the current stable version in an attempt to fix the problem, didn't help.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hey,
What version of udev are you on? I'm running sys-fs/udev-182-r3 _________________ # touch it

it is.. I reckon what fixed it for me was a mix of the pulseaudio update and updating udev to 182. Other than that, I really don't know what else to suggest. _________________ # touch it

I used blueman now, it has problems after pairing, I had to restart my headset, but after that it works. I found an issue on https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-bluetooth/+bug/872044 it seems to be an SDP issue, not sure when I got that, I guess with the recent kernel update...
Anyway for all those that have the problem I am now on latest pulseaudio and use blueman... |
