I have a server running mysql 5.1.61 version and it appears to be silently crashing anywhere from between 3 hours and a day and a half from when it was started. This has been happening for about a week now. The mysqld.err log does not log anything other than when mysql starts. In my /var/log/messages the only thing I see at the time of the crash is postfix complaining that it can't access the database any more.
Does anyone have any ideas about this? |

You can switch mysql to be very verbose and maybe you can switch mysql internal loging. |

I stumbled upon what appears to causing the crash. I was running the update daemon for tiny tiny rss in a screen session. After the last time I rebooted it, I forgot to start it back up and mysql stayed running. I've rebooted it before without changes, so I think it was either screen or tiny tiny rss as the server has been running for four days without a crash. |
