In the latest xbmc git builds the audio is all crazy for me, apparently this isn't an issue with everyone but is for me with streaming/mp4/old avi's and optical out. to compile a pre-AE version do this

Code:
EGIT_COMMIT="0e6b47804558e4d19a572838003cdf880ef3588c" emerge -av xbmc

Here's the commit that pushed AE out - https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/349ec408c33c250b614b68037fec4dd5de5ddcff
and here's the ongoing discussion on AE - http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=128298

hopefully this will help others out...

this is only if you use the 9999 version right?

If you use the version 11 there is no audiengine in?

Is it possible maybe to make a 11.01 - 11.12 where the last part will be the monthly release from xbmc ?
