So...

1/ I fetched the ebuild & files from gamerlay.
2/ I Was obliged to modify this ebuild to implement a missing SDL.h -> SDL/SDL.h conversion.
3/ Emerged it troublefree with IUSE=-server. (If I build it with the +server use flag set then the build fails because of some dedicated.cfg missing file.)
4/ I launch it via Konsole, the animation is displayed, the sound is output, then comes a menu with a CONTINUE switch I am invited to depress after entering the player name.
5/ Nothing happens. :?

No particular error message displayed on the Konsole.

Well... I know nothing about this game and nothing in gaming in general... :oops:

Well, as I wrote, I simply copied the files from http://gentoo-overlays.zugaina.org/gamerlay/portage/games-fps/urbanterror/ in my local overlay, modified the ebuild that was actually broken and emerged.

urbanterror is now in the tree, plz try that version.
