Solito problema con
Guardate voi stessi io non capisco...
Ho provato togliendo xdirectfb e riemergendo il portage (per eventuali errori)

Ovviamente hai sistemato già il file /var/cache/edb/virtuals eliminando l'entry inutile (come più volte ripetuto)?

Immagino che se ti dicessi di provare a togliere blackbox dal world file direi una cazzata
Pero', dall'errore che da', sembra proprio che il suo problema siano questi pacchetti qui: backbox, e libdv, che sono masked.... provare a smscherare questi pacchetti durante l'emerge world ? Boh!

Certo che il tuo sistema è uno dei sistemi Gentoo più disastrati che conosca... ne ha sempre una... ma si può sapere come amministri il tuo sistema?! 
E' difficle anche provare a trovare una soluzione tecnica da proporti, tappi un buco e se ne aprono altri tre, ne crei uno e te ne si risolvono cinque... si dovrebbe passare al lato soluzioni "spirituali" con esorcismi e cose simili...
/me che soffre pensando ai quei poveri sistemi più sfortunati dei suoi...
