I've tried search with
emerge -s sndconfig
but received zero result.
I think, maybe, gentoo has other utility that works like "sndconfig" ? What is it ?
or where can I find "sndconfig" ? |

i *think* you're referring to a program that configures alsa for you, correct? It's put out by redhat. You can probably find a way to use it in gentoo, but the prefered method is using the gentoo alsa installation guide. Just follow what it says closely and do your best. If you have troubles, and you decide to post, make sure you include what soundcard you have and what driver you [think] you need to use Good luck![/url] |
