has anyone had a problem with emerging gnome2.4?

i get a error when it reaches gnome-session, and it complains about gconf-sanity-check is supposed to be in my path, and comes with gconf, but it's not. i tried to 'locate' it, but it isn't on my drive, let alone in my path.

can you please locate it, and tell me what version of gconf you have? i might then be able to fool it into working.

Yea ive had that problem all you have to do is unmerge gconf and then start the emerge of gnome again. That will rebuild all the right gconf files. We must have had an error or something during the original compile. It seemed to work the second time for me.
