Are the cds supposed to contain teh prerequsites for the applications that are included? I ask this because on several attempts to emerge some of the apps, it wants to connect to the net to download additional packages. The only one that sticks out in my head right now is the gimp; it wants to download the tsch shell. If I try to install the shell from the instance on the cd, it also wants to connect to the net.
Am I doing something wrong here or was there just an oversight when compiling the cds?
I am using emerge -k to emerge |
