wicd-client-kde can't connect. don't store pass

Hello, I installed wicd 1.7 and wicd-client-kde 0.3, for an easy use of the net, because i never used the ncurses version. The problem is that can't connect to my net, (I can connect with windows and with the old kde frontend on debian),

On this new v0.3 i can't find a binary for execute on k->...->Internet. Instead there is an app in "add graphics elements", that can't store my password, and can't conect. Always the router answer "wrong pass"

I have not Idea how to fix it. Does Anyone know something about this?
Please can anybody help me? this is desperate. This is my last choice

pd: if i set wep on my router i can connect using iwconfig on the shell. but wep, is not the same, and i don't have a graphic frontend working. wicd don't work with wep too

Do I understand correctly that your wish is to connect to wpa2 wifi but don't have graphical available?

The second last post in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-929404-highlight-.html

involves successfully connecting wpa using the command line. I don't know if this helps or not.
