hi,

i am looking for the string in the lilo.conf to turn my lilo menu to a black&white color scheme.

i tried serveral combinations from the man pages but lilo seems to ignore my settings ....

This is the sequence I use on my default boot menu in order to get white letters over a blue background and white borders with highlight = reverse video :
Code:
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:wb

So, if you are looking for a black&white color scheme, I assume black letters & borders over a white backgound with highlight = reverse video, knowing that black = k and white = w :
menu-scheme=kw:wk:kw:kw
Should fit for purpose.
If you want the reverse (white letters and borders over black background then simply swap kw for wk and wk for kw in the sequence above.

Of course if you want a brighter white, you will change w for W...
I... can't imagine what a brighter black can mean... yet ! :lol:

i took menu-scheme=wk:kw:wk:wk
