hello,
i've got a 1500kbit/s DSL connection, but i want to slow it down temporarly. i'm creating websites, and i want to test how they load with the slower ISDN speed, so i need a way to temporarly slow down the download speed. is there a way to do that?

thanks
tom

You could use the kernel's QoS features, with cbq and htb being the most popular. Or you could use Squid with the delay_pools feature.

But I haven't figured out these things yet, so I can't really help you here.

But you can read these HOWTOs:
