I for the life of me can't get drip to use open divx. It only works using the win32 codecs. I just did an emerge drip and it build avifile and that good stuff. When i try to use opendivx it crashes with this:

Why on earth would you want to use OpenDivX? 
It's old, and not nearly as good quality as some of the newer ones. Try XviD, or if you're feeling adventurous (or corporate), try DivX 5.x from http://www.divx.com/divx/.
From what I hear (although I've never used it), XviD is a much better codec, and iirc, it's based on OpenDivX (but much improved).
