|
I have searched a lot, and tried a lot, but it just didn't work.
When I enter some Chinese in the terminal, it will always display "?" instead.
I checked my locale and it is as follows :
LANG=
LC_CTYPE=zhCN.UTF8
LC_NUMERIC="POSIX"
LC_TIME="POSIX"
LC_COLLATE="POSIX"
LC_MONETARY="POSIX"
LC_MESSAGES="POSIX"
LC_PAPER="POSIX"
LC_NAME="POSIX"
LC_ADDRESS="POSIX"
LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX"
LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX"
LC_ALL=
#locale -a
POSIX
en_US
en_US.ansix341968
en_US.utf8
zh_CN
zh_CN.gb18030
zh_CN.gb2312
zh_CN.gbk
zh_CN.utf8
besides I can make sure my kernel supports Chinese .
Is there anybody who can give me a hand ? |

First of all, "zhCN.UTF8" != "zh_CN.utf8" (or any other correct variant of it).
Second, why aren't you simply setting LANG ? |
