I found this old article on linuxworld (http://www.linuxworld.com/story/32838.htm) that suits my needs except that it was written for debian, slackware, or red hat. In particular, step 8 talks about allowing remote X users to login by editing the /etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess file. Searching that directory, I notice I don't have an Xaccess file..
I'm pretty early in my installation, but I've already installed xfree - did I neglect to install something or is there another file that takes the place of Xaccess in Gentoo? |

Yeah . . . it would be just like the tv show. Except somebody would be watching. |
