Kernel Upgrade: 3.2.21-gentoo to 3.4.10-gentoo

Hi there,

today i expierenced a strange problem on my vdr. I used this [1] kernel konfig on 3.2.21 and my HDMI connected monitor/TV worked fine, but after loading that config on 3.4.10 [2] the maschine booted, but shortly (8 sec or so) in the boot process the monitor turned off. No error in the syslog or dmesg. Booting the 3.2.21 and it works again. maschine is reachable via ssh.

What could that be?

Hi,

after some investigation i found out it was an hdmi issue. Now there runs my 3.4.10 kernel.
